David Ehrlich has been an attorney since 1980 in Illinois, having graduated the University of Colorado in 1975 and John Marshall Law School in 1979, cum laude with participation in the Phillip C. Jessup International Moot Court Competition. Also attended Marshall-Wythe School of Law at the University of Exeter, England.

Formerly with the Chicago Law office of Charlotte R. Goldfein, he has been practicing in State, Federal, and Appellate courts for over 35 years in general practice of law, but concentrating in civil litigation for plaintiffs injured as a result of accidents (auto, premises/falls, workers compensation, products liability and medical negligence.) He is committed to providing quality results and honest legal representation at reasonable fees. He listens to the client and works with them as a team in formulating strategies that best suit each client's needs. He believes in having the client fully informed through open communication of how matters are progressing and prompt responses to inquiries. He is further committed to be accessible to his clients at times best suited to their schedules, and to work hard in their interests to get the best results for them.

Fees - There is no charge for an initial consultation. The standard fees for most personal injury matters is 33 1/3 % of all amounts collected plus expenses.Worker's Compensation fees are 20% of the amount collected plus expenses.Most expenses are incurred with the filing of a law suit. All attempts will be made to settle matters out of court first. Expenses usually include:

You will not be charged for expenses that are not particular to your case (i.e. postage, copying, secretarial, or clerk costs).Fees for other matters (i.e. wills, divorces, real estate closings) shall depend on the type and amount of work involved and will be fully disclosed at the initial consultation if possible.
